Default ready to rip into it

Hey all, just started with the next generation chevy small block...got a 2001 LQ4 or maybe it's a LQ9, don't know yet since I haven't removed the heads. It has 13 thousand original miles on her and ran good when removed, all I did so far was put a Holley Intake and 650 Holley carb up top, and a set of 1 3'4" primary headers on it. I wanted to see what this stock motor would do before any internal mods. With the 317 heads and stock cam in a 3015# car (with me) she bested 12.09 @ 109 four times in a row. Now for some work................Cool Site, glad it's here. Andy.

That times about right for the HP rating and weight. Looks like it was running great. Have fun with the build.
