Default negatives of a .112 lifter preload

7.3125" is my pushrod length found with a checker at zero lash. If I were to go with a 0.100 preload, I'de need a 7.4125" pushrod. My friend recommended I go to a 7.425" pushrod but that would give me 0.1125" of preload.
With a 0.080" preload I'll probably stick with my 7.4" pushrods but what are the negatives of a high preload like 0.100"+

*lifters are factory lq4 from 2005*

Default

Morels have .139-141" of travel. This matches factory travel area.

Default negatives of a .112 lifter preload

The negative of 0.112" preload (or any preload) is that if the lifters ever want to pump up they will keep the valves open by 1.7 x 0.112" (i.e. rocker ratio x preload).
