trying to figure out this compression ratio thing Trying to determine where im at and its confusing me. I keep reading that static cr doesnt really matter but dynamic does and then i read that cranking pressure cant be to high which gets me even more lost. Maybe someone can help me if i give my motor specs?

When i attempt to figure it all out i come up with
Static at 11.4
Dynamic at 10.4
Cranking at 230 which seems really high.
Im attempting to run on pump gas 91 octane being thats my only option here in cali

You are most likely using the valve events @ .050 instead of advertised. That's why your dynamic is coming up so high.
If we ground this cam this is the valve events
IVO is 32.0 ° BTDC
IVC is 68.0 ° ABDC
EVO is 74.0 ° BBDC
EVC is 30.0 ° ATDC
I'm coming up with about 8.8 for dynamic compression.
