(Pics) Headgasket or valve leak?

(Pics) Headgasket or valve leak? It looks like i have a oil leak coming from the valve cover. But i cant really tell for sure. I wanted to get an idea of what you LS1tech experts thought before i come to a conclusion. Also, are there any gaskets you would recommend for valve and exhaust manifold other than OEM for when i replace them?

Valve cover
Oil will come down hit a line and follow it, so it'll come down to where the block meets the head and follow that and then come off at the front or back. If it's a really big leak it'll coat it more, but I've seen plenty of leaks follow a crack/line.
Diagnose oil leaks from the highest point down, there is oil above the head to block mating surface and the only thing above that is the valve cover, plus I can see where the oil came down went around the header primary and kept going.
Use factory, or fel pro only for the valve covers. For head gaskets GM MLS, for header GM MLS or percys. If you have a cheap header/thin/warped header flange no gasket will seal.
