installing new patriot springs and valve seals. just pry the old ones up? slide the new ones down? tap themdown? how do you know they are fully seated?

just put mine on ,just tap em on & they wont go much further theyll bottom out,when you do the next few theyll all show the same amount on the guides.

 

I use a socket that is just a little bigger than the seals with an extention and usually able to push on by had but when I get to the back ones I might use a little tap with a hammer ETC... Just look and see if they all look fairly equal.

 

just did mine today vlv. seals and swap to dual springs on the car.what a pain in the *** to do on #8 springs.getting ready for the trex cam.
