Default selecting the right cam

Hey guys I'm still a novice when it comes to internals however my plans for my 00 trans am ws6 is to use force induction. With that said I know using to big of a cam is better for nitrous not force induction. Here's my main question with the trickflow top end kit be good to use with a turbo set up or am I wasting my money. The kit linked here is what I am looking at. https://m.summitracing.com/parts/tfs-k306-515-460

Trick flow makes nice kits but that cam would prolly only work for an 8 lbs or less situation. I'd send the factory heads to TEA or Advanced Inductions for some CNC work and good valve springs. Then even a little GT2-3 cam would make 600 rear wheel with 18 lbs on E85

So you definitely are going the turbo route at some point?

So far I have kook headers and y pipe along with a full borla, high flow cats, K&n intake, and I wanna say I have some more internal work done by how the car feels but I'm not sure what it all had since I can't find the previous owner. If you have any pointers on what agood next step would be I'd greatly appreciate it.

That TF kit will be okay at low boost levels like mentioned above, but since you'll be doing a turbo down the road why not get a more specific head and cam setup that's more ideal?

As everyone stated, that is a good camshaft, but not something we would spec for a boost application. If you have a minute, give us a call. We can get you into a package with PRC As-Cast 225 heads and custom cam. We will make sure you get the best bang for the buck and save a little money doing it.
