Default prc 225cc

Long story short. I have a 231/235 tick cam for ls2, .625/.605 Was going to do the prc stage 2.5 ls6 heads but doing some more research seeing the 225cc and able to run stock rockers still and option hollow valve stems. Only for a couple hundred buck difference. Will also be spraying a 150 on it. Anyone recommend the 225cc? How is the PTV compared to the ls6? Thanks in advance.

I was in the same boat as you I have a Tick 231/235 cam Ls6 intake and bought a set of Prc As Cast 225's milled to 58cc. After getting the heads and checking ptv it ended up just not working, if i remember correct it was at like .20 intake and .45 exhaust. So talked to Texas Speed who was Totally awesome through out the whole purchase and ended up returning the As Cast 225's and went with their small bore 227's with 62cc chambers.

Overall I'm more than happy with the heads, don't have any dyno numbers or track times yet but the car is a animal up top now. Best pass cam only with the car was 11.30 I have no doubt it will go 10's with the setup now. I have a buddy with a 6 speed ss, Ported 243's, a Btr stage 4 cam, Fast 102, and from a 40 roll my car even with the auto puts about 1 1/2 cars on his.

Thanks for the input, that makes me extremely happy hearing ur mph on that cam. I was hoping to be able to do the 62cc chambers with the 225 due to the different valve angle. I like the fact of running factory rockers. Hopefully my build should be done around christmas I'm hoping.
