Default Help with Lq9 build

Hey guys I need to know if I need to swap my 05' lq9 rod bolts. My plans are to run 317 heads with a ms3 cam and circle d 3800 stall in a 4l60e. In the future I plan on spraying 150shot. I've read that the arp bolts need to be worked and katech makes a set that directly swap in with no problems. I can't find the katech bolts. Please help.

How hard are you going to spin it?
I would let it be since it is an 05.

I personally wouldn't unbolt the oil pan for any less than 7000rpm, regardless of HP. Then again, I'm the kind of person that finds out that stock rod bolts on an Oldsmobile 350 don't stretch enough to spin a bearing until around 8300 rpm, so take my advice with a grain of "your results may vary".

From what I've read a 3800 stall with a ms3 usually revs to 6800rpm.

I have to swap the oil pan from the ls1 to be able to install it into my T/A.

6800 rpm would only worry me about pushrods and springs. Since I assume you took care of those with the cam swap, save your worries for that soon to be burnt out 4l60. Without a good trans cooler and upgraded hard parts, a 3800 stall will send it to an early grave in short order.

I push my LQ9 to apprx 800hp/6500 with an untouched bottom-end. I do have an LS6 cam and dual springs. I'd leave the bottom end alone personally.
