Fitting piston rod in my lq4
Reason is where I come from we have bad mechin shops what size pistons and rods do u guys recommend if that's possible . Or shape to bump up the compretion a notch and also what bearings should I use for my crank since I won't touch them if any one could guide me on part numbers will appreciate that
Thanks...

If your local machine shops are that bad, ship the engine to a reputable builder instead. It will be well worth the shipping costs to have a nice freshly machined engine and properly balanced crankshaft compared to some POS time bomb that was thrown together to avoid machining.
As far as part numbers, I'm building a 370ci LQ4 based engine as well, but I'm doing all the required machine work. I'm using Wiseco K398X3 flat top pistons with Scat ICR6100-927 I Beam rods.
I would suggest getting more compression by using smaller chamber heads. Domed pistons add weight, which could require heavy metal to be added when balancing the crank and which increases the machining costs. Plus it's more stress on the rods and crank. You probably have 317 heads, which have 71cc chambers. You can sell them to the turbo guys and pick up a set of 243 or 799 heads instead. They have 64cc chambers, so you will see a nice bump in compression with no ill effects.
