Oil cap breather What are the pros and cons of one of these instead of your typical oil cap? I sure like the way it looks lol

Of coarse the main function would be to evacuate crankcase pressure. If your PCV system is still hooked up it may pull unmetered air into the intake manifold. Also I hear some guys talking about an oil mist may come out & get around your engine compartment.

I ran one for a short while, then i switched to a Mighty Mouse setup, much happier with the mighty mouse, keeps engine bay clean, i can monitor how much oil collects between changes, and it just a much better setup, oil mist in the bay and on exhaust gets old. Have used Mighty mouse setups on a few vehicles and its always top notch

I have tried also breathers but they always throw up oil out side in some point. I suggest to go catch can and avoid breathers if you dont want oil in your enginebay.

I have a catch can and now i have a oil cap breather as well! Very nice piece. Just wanted to clean up the looks and release crankcase pressure issues as well. This piece is made great! Very nice!! Has a 1 way check valve as well!
