Also, my main goal is to beat just bout every 5.0 that's n/a.. unless u know how them bros are. Hiding nitrous and gutting it to sub 3k lmao. Hoping it'll be a strong runner. Hoping for traps above 120 for sure

 

Just curious why you do not want to spin the motor? You have a 2002 block and LS1's love rpm... anything under 6800rpm is leaving a lot on the table with most cams including the one you are purchasing.

 

Well I'm hoping for it to be right around 6800. I know the 01-02's have better rod bolts, just would like to make a real nice torque curve that Carrys up to 6800 or so. Don't really interest me to spin up to 7k until I'm ready to do a further build on another car..

 

Dropped engine off, getting everything installed and everything checked. Cant wait now, just need clutch, motor mounts, catch can the the tune comes!

 

Very interested to see this combo on the dyno and at the track seems like a good setup
