Default LS1 Swap in 74 Nova

Hey everybody I'm new here and new to the LS game. I decided to do a LS swap in my 74 Nova and I'm asking for a dumbed down build list for what I'm wanting to do. Iv got a 2001 iron block 5.3L. So far all iv done is had the machine work done to it. Bored .020. Redecked the heads and what not. I have Wiseco "Junkyard Dog" forged Pistons for it. And that's where I'm at. Iv been doing a lot of reading trying to find someone with the same goals as me but everyone is a little different and I'm not sure where to start. It's going to be turbo charged and I'm looking to get 550-600 ponies out of her. It's gonna be just a cruise around car that I can smash around in. Not a strip car but maybe once or twice but something to cruise in is all. If anyone has done what I want to do with my set up and can give me a dumbed down build list that would be awesome. Iv got the money just don't know where to spend it. I wanting to go with a bigger cam just not sure what to get for a turbo and all my internals I'll be replacing. I wanna do it right. Thanks ahead of time

Isky 215/215 cam, PAC1218 springs, LS9 head gaskets, Holley 302-2 pan, On3/VS 7875 or the 83mm turbine T4 S475, stock ECU on HPT users if you're using an LS trans. Dekas 80 lb injectors, Single AEM 380 lph pump if you're running an external.

That should get you pretty far. Stock rods?

That should be a good start for me thanks. I'll probably get new pushrods. Iv read that the stock ones should be fine but I'll probably get some stronger ones to be on the safe side. Any suggestions? I'm not sure what Trans I'm going with yet but it's gonna be a manual

Pushrods aren't need with the PAC1218s. They have similar pressure to stock LS6 springs and aren't strong enough to bend the pushrods. The Isky is also a fairly low-lift cam and works good with unported Cathedral heads and a turbo.

With trans, you don't have a lot of options with a turbo. T56 or T6060 for direct bolt up newer style transmissions. There are adapters to use the Nissan 370z transmission but in the long run the cost is similar to the T56. The older Super T10 and Muncie M20 can be made to bolt up and work decent with a turbo if you find the right models. Might be cheaper than the T56 but you lose the double overdrives.
