Chamfering bearings
There are ways it can be done if needed.
Some do it by hand.
Some make a small fixture in a lathe and turn them as needed.
Some use the big end of an old rod to hold the bearing and machine as needed in a lathe or on a mill with a rotary table.
A bearing scraper can be purchased through Goodson tools
Maybe KCS or someone else on here can answer.
I believe it would depend more on the chamfer on the journals of the crankshaft.

If I were forced to do something like this, I would probably put the shells together on a flat surface and tighten a hose clamp around them. Then use something like this chamfer router bit chucked up in a hand held drill to cut the chamfer. Just make sure you cut the right side.
