Cam & Heads Advice - LS1 Buildup Little background... Found a LS1 out of a 99 Camaro for a song..so I snagged it. Took it apart and all looks well so I just dropped it off at the machine shop for a going thru....
Its going into an 89 Camaro.
PLAN is to top it off with an LS6 intake which I already have....only thing up in the air currently is what direction am I gonna go with the heads & Cam.
Initial and current thought was to use the 706's I got with the LS1 (Long story)...have TEA do the 2" Valve upgrade and the CNC Magic to them.
Any off the shelf head (new) for roughly same pricing I should look at?
Secondly...Cam..I'd like a lumpy idle...something nice sounding but streetable. Not planning on any forced induction, nor any NOS...just plain ol motor...
