a LS 383 stroker is the last engine I would build for reliability. Unless you like a frothy oil/gas mix kind of like a 2 stroke. They love to consume oil, I would much rather have a SBE. On a LS1 block only the stroke is increased, not the bore and stroke like the SBC stuff.
