Melling 10295 Oil pressure

Melling 10295 Oil pressure Like the title says, just wondering what oil pressure you guys are seeing out of this oil pump when hot to see if my oil pump oring is leaking a bit. At 199°F oil, pressure is about 42-44psi for me.

About 48psi hot at 7-800RPM idle, drops to 42-44psi in gear (auto), around 60psi at 2000RPM cruise, climbs over 80psi above 5000RPM with an Autometer mechanical gauge and Joe Gibbs driven LS30 oil.
About 15-20psi too much especially above 2000RPM but I'm f#cked if I'm pulling it all apart to change relief springs. I'd be curious to know how much power it might be robbing up top though.

Should I bother taking it apart and seeing if the oring is pinched? The ticking noise my engine makes is making me insane. Also the other day after warming it up I pulled the dip stick ans saw some small bubbles in oil. Looked like fish eye in paint. Engine was still running when i did that so ill try it again after warm and just after shutting off.
