Default truck wake up parts

looking to wake up my 2002 low miles, very clean 1500 2wd truck. has flow masters and cold air box. cast block alum heads no egr-3.42 posi
thinking cam and springs than a dyno tune. headers? wanting a good driving truck that tows my bass boat easier and more effectively. nothing too radical just 50-75 more horses and more torque to help the process.

all help/advice appreciated!!!

trucker cam, 205/210, .510" lift and run LS6 springs. Valve job on the stock heads and exhaust should net you about that much power if you get it tuned. But you might need more injector.

1. Cam Motion stage 1 or 2 Truck Cam,
2. 1 3/4" LTs
3. TBSS Intake (ported by Peak Speed if funds allow)
4. Ported stock heads, small mil for +.5 Compression Increase.
Tune required obviously. Should deliver closer to 75 WHP
& 35-45 lb ft through your whole power band
and exceed what you are looking for.

Cam Motion stage 2 cam (205/210), LS6 valve springs, change the rear end gears for steeper, and tune would be my priorities.

The cam will gain around 40rwhp/20 ft/lbs (more if the truck isn't already tuned). Tune will add a lot of timing for better power through the whole band and remove some over sensitive nannies.

Gears or shorter tires will help towing more than anything else. I'm going to be looking to put 4.10s in mine up from the stock 3.42s.
