ls6 heads on an ls1?
ls6 heads on an ls1? I can get a set of ls6 heads for a good price. would it be worth it to have them installed they are stock ls6 heads. How much would a full bolt on car with a tr227 benifit or should I just keep my stock heads.

Re: ls6 heads on an ls1? Since you have the LS6 intake and a bigger cam you should benfit a good amount. If you get them fairly inexpensive I'd think they'd be worth 20+rwhp or more. I'd have them flowed B4 you bolted them on though. Just so you know how much CFM you'll be picking up over the stock LS1 heads.
Re: ls6 heads on an ls1? I've asked Speed Inc. the same question and they told me that you would benefit about +15hp over LS1 heads. Not worth it if you have to pay a lot for them. If they are fairly new you could probably sell them for a good buck and offset the cost to pay to have your LS1's Ported and Polished <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> They usually go for about $1k it seems in the For Sale section.
