Thanks 98, I filled the filter when I installed it.
I will also add that since I never took off the k-member I was unable to check the pickup tube height in the pan. Seems like most that change the pumps with the engine in the car don't do this though.
1 more thing is that I used an oil pickup tube girdle to get the tube in the pump evenly and lower my chances of pinching the o-ring.

I did a walk around vid but must have screwed it up on my phone. I'm gonna check all the fluids then I'll grab one.
It sure was difficult to get to stay running but I finally got it to idle, I did get a few videos of that.
Thanks again for all the help 98!

Thanks, I actually thought it would be louder with the 11:1 CR but I'm happy with how it sounds for sure.
I bring it to a shop for the tuning. It already had a base tune flashed so I could start it up and drive it with the new setup (New injectors). It still took a few minutes for it to learn how to idle, and stumbled a little after bliping the throttle, but that seems to be improving.
I will probably run a tank of gas through before I get the street tune done. I plan to watch the fuel pressure with the "torque lite" phone app. I have a racetronix ready to put in, but is there a need if the stock one can maintain pressure at high RPM's?

Now what coupler should I get for the Lid to TB. I originally tried to go cheap and get a Fernco one, well now I have to end up buying it twice. Lesson learned, 4" to 4" coupler for clay pipe is actually 5" ID...
So now I'll spring for the right part, just need to know which is best:
4"x6" straight seems to be the standard: http://www.intakehoses.com/mm5/merch...egory_Code=SC4
Or the 4"x7" that can be bent slightly for the LS applications: http://www.intakehoses.com/mm5/merch...e=CAC40B-400X7

I hadn't a local shop actually had one of those that say specific to ls and can be bent, that thinrg was hard as a rock with those rings on there so I wasn't seeing how that one would work.
I am currently running the straight 4x6 now and it's not doing good. It is caving in on me. So I 2, am looking for something else.
Glad you got yours up and running now. Your going to love the new setup

Is it 8" long since it says full 4" legs, and where'd you get the CF pipe from?

Was it collapsing on you without the CF? I found this 30 degree one, wonder how that would line up compared to the 22 degree. http://www.siliconeintakes.com/index...oducts_id=1090

i would say more than likely becuase of both of them. I just ordered the 4" 22 degree one last night. Hoping that will solve my issue.

Hope it works out for you. I am gonna make some cutouts of the 22 and 30 degree bends to see which looks like it lines up better. The 22 is 5 ply, unknown on the 30 but it's about $10 cheaper. Are you going to reinforce yours before installing it or just run as is?
