I recently picked up a 5.3L and everything looked up. I'm in the process of cleaning everything up and I accidentally mixed up the order of the stock rocker arms. Do they need to be installed in the same position that they were taken off from?

 

You can put them back on any where, Check the tips and cup for abnormal wear If you have the budget do a trunion upgrade.
