I have an ls7 cam im planning to put in a gen III 5.3. The motor is going in an 2800lb e28 bmw, so im not worried about loosing low end torque. I planning on running the engine using ms3 extra, full standalone. My question is that since im only using the 24x crank reference sensor and not the cam sensor can i directly swap the ls7 cam, using the stock timing cover and timing set?
