best heads and cam
in case you were wondering there are to many variables, even within similar combinations for their to be a "best" setup. A few degrees here or there on the camshaft, or a few cc"s in the combustion chamber may likely get lost in the "noise" of inherent variability. it just isn't as significant as you may think.
Follow your gut and we'll See you at the drag strip ;-)
A good start for stock heads is having TSP-PRC do some porting, this is affordable and you will notice the gains. Then there is companies like Mamo, Dart, AFR, and so on that have CNC-Machined aftermarket cylinder heads and each have different flow rates that will work best with certain cams, certain HP goals and so on. You can not use 260cc heads with a 212/218 cam and expect 100 hp gains and peak numbers at 2000rpm.
Larger cams will also require other supporting mods such as Dual Valve springs with certain Open/Closed springs pressures, Auto cars will need a higher stall converter, as well as a few other things.
Can you tell us what goals you have in mind, HP wise, as well as future plans such as boost, and what the car will be intended for? Also, what is your budget on this?
