I remember a while back they were having "oiling issues".. what exactly was the problem and what did they do to fix it?

Probably converting the dry sump block to wet sump (?) then back to the dry sump it is now.

I'm wonering why I don't see any breathers or vacuum pump lines on the valve covers. not needed with the drysump on there?

Are you kidding me? You guys are my family. This is MY house! (Ok, so I share it with 25,000 of ya'll.) ALL results of this car as well as pics and video will be posted on LS1Tech first.

Ok, a couple of answers...

Yes, that's a tranny dipstick.
Yes, that's a POS seat that will soon be changed. At the time I needed something THAT DAY and it was all I could get my hands on. It's LIGHT though!
I have no idea what that foam block is. It would be one helluva ride if you used that for a passenger's seat though.
Nope, not worried about heat soak. That air won't be in there long enough to get hot.
"Upper stress bar"??? Are you talking about those cute little strut tower brace thingys that get in the way of working on the engine that the autocross guys use? This car knows nothing but drag slicks!
Yes, we had an oiling engine. It needed a dry sump system. It got one. Problem solved.

Looks great! but I have one suggestion.

Have the top of the intake manifold powder coated, then CNC a unicorn in the middle of it.

It doesn't have to be a girly unicorn... It *could* be a badass charging unicorn about to ram ya. But still, the unicorn is fitting.

So what's it dyno?

What does it dyno....well, I'm not telling! J/K There have been some problems with the FAST unit (no surprise there!) that have had us beating our heads against the wall. No dyno numbers with the current setup as of yet.
