Default GMPP Small Bore LS3 heads vs 241's

There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of information on the small bore LS3 heads but it seems the general concensus is they don't flow too great out of the box compared to ported heads. Does anyone have any thoughts on where they fall compared to stock 241's though or how they would fair on a stock bore LS1?

I have a mostly stock 01 SS with 241's and have a complete LSA blower kicking around. I know I won't be going with a bigger motor so I'm contemplating how I could get this blower on my LS1. I know they make square port to cathedral adapter plates but they seem inefficient and obviously every bit of room is needed adding a roots setup on these cars. I wouldn't mind something that flows similar or a bit better than a 241 but do not want to take a step backward.

You sure the blower will fit?

Why are you talking yourself out of the bigger engine?
You seem concerned about flow and efficiency, the bigger bore will solve all
your issues.

I trimmed and dropped the K member for an MP112 already so I have a bit more space than usual. I also am considering fabricating a shorter/notched lid if I find a few heat exhangers similar to LS9 bricks. I am a machinist by trade so the cost wouldn't be outrageous as long as the IC bricks aren't a ton of money.

I am talking myself out of a bigger engine because I know once the old motor comes out, it will be quite a while until something new goes in it's place. Also, we're comparing 1500 for a set of heads to a couple grand for a motor.

Dirty Dingo offers an adapter to put an LS3 intake or supercharger on a cathedral port head. Thought might be of interest.
