PCV connections
I have a lq4 out of a 2003 Yukon. It have a ls3 intake and a part # 3864 edelbrock tb with no ports.
I'm using the stock truck valve covers. The passenger has the port aiming towards the front of the car. the driver has the nippple aiming up.
And no port on the valley pan.
I found this routing in this site. But I don't have a port on my intake. So I'm not sure what to connect where.
It's going into a 63 nova. So I'm not using any of the evap stuff.
Thanks.
the one on the driver's side valve cover usually to manifold vacuum. that type is the restricted orifice type valve.
the one on your driver side intake is after the throttle body blade so that can be your vacuum.
plug the pass side intake port and route the pass side valve cover to a clean air source.
that's about the simplest way to go about it. you can get crazy with multiple catch cans and stuff too, but thats the basic operation. manifold vacuum draws "clean" air in the pass side where it picks up the nasties and pulls it through the driver side cover into the manifold where it can be burnt off with the incoming air
