If your tightening rockers -- rotate engine with a ratchet. Exhaust open. Exhaust close. Intake open. Intake close. Rotate another 90. You're close enough to TDC to tighten the rocker bolts without extra load from the valves.

thanks team for your input, I think I will try vettenuts diagram seems most understandable and straight forward.


hope by tonight all rocker arms are torqued down and I can button up the rest of the motor small stuff.
