Default LQ4, flat top pistons, and or L92 heads.

Thinking of swapping out the stock pistons for a set of used flat tops, do I need to have the bottomed re-balanced? And what is everyone's thought about running the L92 Heads. I've read alot about both sides of the fence, the good the bad. MY BIGGEST PROBLEM, there is to Many Options!!!

Thanks.

The flat top pistons are only about 15g heavier, so it should be okay.

My DJN flats were actually a bit lighter than the LQ4 dished pistons that originally swung from my truck crank. Made the rebalance easy Few quick holes

I was referring to OEM pistons. Aftermarket are hit or miss, but if they're lighter, that's certainly a good thing.
