Default Deck surface cleanliness

I've been working on getting the deck of my 5.3 clean and I've reached a point the I can't make anymore progress I started with plastic razor blades then once I couldn't go any further I added acetone and finished up with 1500 grit wet dry paper this is where im at currently when I run my finger across any part of the surface there aren't any raised areas and it feels perfectly flat.

Looks like the knock sensors might have had water intrusion on them, might want to check them and re-seal while it's handy, Deck looks good...

Will do, quick question I was cleaning out the bolt holes when I came across oil in the top three large holes I have no idea how it got there but there is enough to cover the threads should I be concerned about this or should I just get them clean and dry and throw it back together?

Visually it looks good, if there are no ridges you catch with a fingernail you should be good to go. Also make sure it is flat with a known straight edge. Make sure all the threads are clean and free of debris and oil or water. Personally I don't like roloc as this fibers are very abrasive if they get down in the cylinder wall.
