Can I use MLS gaskets on a 98 LS1 When I am also using 98 LS1 heads that I had ported? I have one guy telling me that I can only use the original gaskets and another guy telling me that I can use any gasket on a 98. The 98 heads are different from the 99 and up heads. The valve covers have perimeter bolts.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Curtis
