Default LS7 lifters and pushrod on STOCK LS1

Just a general question everyone,

I pulled my 853 heads and I may resurface them too. I thought while I'm here I should change the lifters and push rods.

As the title says, motor wise it is stock. I will be placing LS9 MLS gaskets soon (boost build soon) but for a stock cam and heads would 7.350 or 7.4 (stock) work for me?

I know everyone is saying use a length checker but the research I found was everyone asking this same question but they weren't bone stock like me what I found was based on people having cammed cars, milled heads, ported heads too and other crazy builds so thats why I ask lol

Because the LS7 lifter sits shorter I would assume it would be 7.350 due to it being shorter in length or I can still get away with the stock 7.4?

That lifter is the stock replacement lifter for all LSx motors. No length change required.

If you are going to boost, then I assume you are going to put in stiffer springs. If that is the case, you may want to reassess using LS7 lifters and stock pushrods. I would up the spring stiffness and go with better lifters and larger OD pushrods to minimize flex.
