Default Could use some help

Just had my trans built and added a FTI stall , hadn't even broke in the clutches before the engine got a fast paced tap ,that follows the RPMS, No oil pressure change ,no engine code,no loss of power . It always had a mild tap that would go away once it warmed up or you passed 2,000 rpms. Really hoping its the heads and not the engine . IS there a way to tell without pulling the covers ? If it is the engine I found a LQ9 so not the end of the world, that said I would rather rebuild the heads with a BTR stage 3 cam kit then change the engine . I will be adding a video soon

You didn't touch the motor, only Trans and now have this noise that is rpm dependent......flexplate/ torque converter bolt loose.

Do a search, there's a ton of people who've had a similar issue where it sounds like valvetrain and it ends up being a loose TC or flex bolt. You said you didn't mess with the motor only the Trans and unless you're leaving out details like you hit the Rev limiter or something, stuff doesn't typically just break suddenly.

I've never had a loose one but I think you can tell from either the window on automatic bellhousings or you may have to drop the starter. It's hard as crap sometimes to tell specifically where a noise is coming from when a car is running especially if it's a modded v8. An El cheapo stethoscope can help isolate it, but if the Trans was the last thing done I'd be checking those bolts. There's a reason there's so many threads and videos about them being loose.
