Default 408 parts selection recommendations

Looking to get some feedback on a few parts before buying the last remaining parts for my build.

Currently have LQ4 block, stack injection intake, lunati 4" stroker crank, lunati rods, diamond 11572R1 pistons, frankenstein stage 1 heads, cammotion 230/240 .621"/.604 116+4.

Trying to figure out what lifters and timing set is practical without going overboard. Thinking of getting johnson 2110 or 2116LSR. Timing set leaning towards Rollmaster Red single chain #11-1135. Want to stay with a single chain.

Don't really need head studs, but was wondering if anyone has used the Jegs reusable heads bolts? Says made in US and price is pretty decent.

If using lq4 truck pan and windage tray is it good enough to just shim the windage tray down?

I have heard good things about both johnson lifters as well as the rollmaster. I have not run the jegs headbolts I run the arp bolts. As for pan as long as it has enough ground clearance to run truck pan u should be able to shim the windage tray for clearance. I have heard of a few people trimming the tray slightly but most fit with some shims.

Id use the morel tie bar 5290 of you dont want a tray. The Johnson's are nice and we sell them also, but the morel are just as good and iirc we have a better price point on em.

Shimming the windage tray is fine.

Also on the timing set, great choice. we have all 3 styles (ls1, ls2 and 4x) available from rollmaster. Their iwis chain is just as strong as the c5r and the whole set is $130 from us!

If you wanna get them all together, just let me know!

Thanks for replies. I'll have to mull over the lifters some more.
