2002 ls1 rebuild
Whats a good Rebuild kit. Atm ill be using 241 heads with a BTR duel spring kit If its in the budget ill get 243 heads, would like to go forged for NX kit later. Gonna use stock crank because they seem to be tuff . Just looking for a nice kit with forged rods and pistons. what would you all recommend. im going with a large cam as well. which I know NX kits dont love . Not above going .030 over and going with a higher compression piston set up .

.005 hone is probably all that's needed.
The LS1 blocks:
1997–1998 LS1 5.7L aluminum blocks can only be safely honed (not even bored!) just 0.004-inch over the stock bore diameter.
Improved liner positioning in 1999-and later 5.7L LS1 blocks and all LS6 blocks permit boring up to 0.010-inch oversize.
Unfortunately you are SOL, if wanting to go 0.030-over for a reliable LS1 aluminum block rebuild.
We do have complete rebuild kits. Depending on what you want to do we have the kit ti fit, but the price varies. 3.905 is the max bore youll want to go.
Our rebuild kit comes with pistons, rings, rods, main/rod/cam bearings, hi flo oil pump, hd timing set with iwis chain, head bolts, mls head gaskets, and all other engine gaskets, cam thrust plate and crank bolt. Literally everything youll need.
