Default Comp Cams Ultra-Gold™ GM LSX Aluminum Rocker Arms (1.82)

I'm being real stealthy on how I massage my LS1 since I live in CA.
Any cam work will be killed by the smog ***** so I was wondering if going to a higher lift roller rocker would be beneficial in the HP chase game.
These units can fit under a stock valve cover.
About 4 bills and change for the set.
Any input from those who have gone this route?

The main thing that affects a smog test is any combo of too much duration and/or valve overlap. High ratio should sneak by. If your car idles smooth now, it still will with the rockers.
Having said that, if anyone has had any adverse (or good! lol) results, they should chime in here...

Don't forget new valve springs, so the cost is higher for minimal payoff. I would contact someone like Tony Mamo, he can recommend cams that will pass in CA and pitfalls. Even the LS6 cam might provide a better payoff than rockers.

Not sure the rockers are worth the time, effort and funds for the gain but that's just my opinion.
