Default BTR Stage 2 vs Tick SNS TM Stage 2

Going in a 2005 LS6 CTS-V. Looking for great DD characteristics and would rather have TQ gains over HP gains.

Mods: Kooks 1 7/8" headers and "high flow" cats, with cam......BTR SK001S springs/steel retainers, LS7 lifters. Stock rockers, heads and intake for now. Future: worked stock heads and possibly worked LS6 intake/tb.

Would much much much have a reliable fun family friendly daily than track star, but I do want some more grunt.

Guess I could have put that in:

BTR: 227/234 .614"/.576" 113+2 (Comp Cam)

TICK: 227/235 .618"/.605" LSA110+3 (Cam Motion)

The tick cam is gonna bring in the power sooner, so that's a good thing, and if you have a good tuner it should drive fine. As long as it clears ok I'd go for that cam

BTR can also get the cam from Cam Motion.

BTR cam has a lot less overlap so it will give you better DD characteristics.

My thoughts exactly. For a DD I'd go with that BTR cam over the Tick one all day long. For a weekend car I'd do the exact opposite.
