Default Lifter Tray

Why use a lifter tray, the lifters never stay in it from what I have seen. They should make a lifter tray with a magnet at the bottom to hold them from falling into the motor.

Just a rant, I'm done.

So the lifters don't spin 90* and the roller can't roll anymore.

A few hundred thousand production engines would prove that statement wrong...

I believe he means when doing a cam change.
Using a magnet IN an engine close to moving parts is a very bad idea. Not only does it attract any material inside the engine, but it would also magnetize the lifter itself making all sorts of other odd issues as well.
