Default Engine swap

I'm doing a engine replacement/ swap in my 02 fbody. I cracked a piston in my ls1. So I bought a new engine. From ATK 5.3l bored to a 5.7l iron block it's a gen 3 block but a 2004 or newer block. When I got the engine I noticed a few differances.
the motor mounts on the old LS1 had I guess you would say a extra set of engine mount holes you could possibly use on one side, On my new engine it doesn't have those as well as doesn't have the engine ground above the starter. Does anyone know where I should ground it because it doesn't really seem like I can ground it anywhere else?
secondly I noticed when it comes to the bolt holes in the front sides of the motor arnt matching up.
Does anyone know the difference between the two. Am I going to need to go to a different assesory drive assembly? Because it seems like I'm missing some bolts for I wanna say the AC compressor and alternator on the other side.
Thirdly. When installing the cam/timing sprockets. I've been told from Texas speed to just line it up dot to dot and I should be good. I was curious if I need to make sure the motor is on top dead center before install? If so. How would I tell when it's On the compression stroke? Any advice helps. Thank you.

When the crank dot is up the motor is at tdc. when its up its on both compression and exhaust stroke...only the cam tell it which is which.
Youll need to drill and tap boss for alt bolt hole. put engine ground to starter bolt or bellhousing bolt or head.

so you say crank dot. Im guessing your talking about the crank sprocket. Not the keyway on the crank. Correct?

In the cast iron blocks you have to drill the block to fit a low mount starter like the aluminum F-bodies have. White dot on the picture below. Here is a guide that might help you.

As for the other 2 things. I have a 5.3 cast iron in my 4th gen and had no problems with the mounts or the starter, and I run all fbody accessories, engine mounts, and starter.
