Default Need help asap!

I'm pulling my engine out of my 1998 Trans am because theres a loud knock from
the bottom end of the engine and my oil pressure was at 0, My buddy said my pump went out and also said your connecting rod bearings are shot. You guys think this is true or there could be more problems besides the bearings? Thank you!

Main bearings ,cam bearings, timing chain, new oil pump, check rocker arms, Depending on how long you ran it with 0 oil pressure pistons and rings, crankshaft will need to be turned or replaced. Off the top of my head....

^ what he said plus possibly a ruined rod or 2 as well.

IF you are looking to rebuild the engine and get it back on the road asap, we have complete rebuild kits for less than summit, jegs, and your local machine shop PLUS more complete!

Please let us know if you need any assistance with that.

Dude, your engine is SHOT. Don't worry about a squeak, when the loud knock is the tell here..... Knock trumps squeak every time!
