Thumbs down Metal Shavings in my oil now.

Well things are going from bad to worse I guess, I did an oil change on friday, and on the magnetic drain plug I found a bunch of metal shavings! They where not like glitter, what I would expect to see from a cam bearing going out, these where more like slivers. Has anyone heard of something like this? I am at a loss for what to do right now. Any input would be Greatly appreciated.

mine had that and it ended up being a bent pushrod that had been shaving some of the lil gally in the head, but im a M6, A4's dont seem to be bad when it comes to bending pushrods.. and also these were slivers also.. but i yanked the valve cover of on the drivers side and it was the first one.. the hold the pushrod slid down into had a bit around it and the head was real shiney where it had wore

Same thing happened to me. I had two peices of metal on my plug, they are part of a curve, flat on one side, round on the other. they were on my plug along with metal dust............. any ideas?? I have a 98 with stock internals.
