Default Polluter v2

Before anyone chimes in and say use the search option I already did and have not found what I was looking for. So I would like a little more information from people that are running this camshaft and what stall converter you're running, some people say that it maybe too much for a DD on a LS1 (346) but I have seen 2 graphs on this cam and it seems the TQ kicks around 3,700 and jumps up a little bit around 4,400 then stays nice and flat seems to make more power and better TQ than the MS3 I was going to run but I am yet to pull the trigger on it, so if anyone here running this cam on a LS1 please chime in and if you have a dyno graph post it please, thank you

I am running the Polutter V2 with PRC 243'S milled .030" and a .040" head gasket. With this setup I did have to cut valve reliefs at .030". Also in the process of installing a MSD Air Force intake.

I shift my setup at 6800 and with my Yank PT 4000 my shift extensions drop to 6100 which is good for my setup.

No dyno numbers but I love the cam so far. It really pulls damn hard from about 5700 - 6800 rpms.

I'm more worried about track times than dyno numbers but in good air this fall I'm really hoping to be fighting for a high 10 second time slip which may be tricky since I'm on stock suspension. Non the less it should run low low 11's @ hopefully 120+

I also have a VERY good tuner

I'd definitely bump the compression up if possible. The V2 is quite a bit of cam for a stock cube LS1. I'll be running the V2 in my setup as well, but in 243 headed 376ci with around 11.5:1 compression and honestly I wish I would have gone with thinner head gaskets to get a bit more compression. My car is an M6 though so I can't help you out on converter stall speed but I think Tick recommends no less than a 4,000 stall and 3.73 gears for an auto.

Well my car is not going to remain stock cube, eventually when I find a nice short block ill be jumping to a 6.0 so I figure I could get the polluter and run it now and it will work and then it will still work when I go over to an LS2? then when I feel the urge to step up I can stroke the 6.0, was going to stroke the ls1 but I don't like being limited to only 383ci

Right on, that's who does mine as well. In fact I just got a retune a few weeks ago for my H/C/I setup.

Sorry for the off topic OP.

I'm in the South metro. I don't think I'll be able to make it to power cruise, I do want to make it there sometime though. I hope to make it to the street machine nationals likely on the Saturday. Do you happen to know about any dyno events coming up? I'd like to see what I'm putting down now and also try to get to a drag strip before the fall.

Don't really know of any dyno events besides car craft. They have a dyno to make some pulls.

After power cruise me and some buddies will be heading to Rock Falls Raceway, I will hit ya up when we go.

You have yet to run your H/C setup yet ?
What is your setup ?

Sounds good, give me a shout. No I haven't run it yet, here is my build thread https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...-eps-mamo.html. In short it's AI 232's, EPS 226/230-113+2, and Mamo 102 with all the supporting goodies.
