What's the reason for Hawks using the PRC 5.3L heads over the LS6 heads? Availability? Price? More low-end power? I don't hear of them being used nearly as much, so I'm curious.

Dr Abrahm, If your moving to SC, definitely touch base with Hawk's Motorsports. They did the restoration on my ~400,000 mile 91 RS Camaro in 2015 and did excellent work with the car. I've done business with Hawk's for over 15 years. Bruce, Tyler or Ryan all are very knowledgeable and can help with the right set up for your car including install and tuning if desired.

I definitely will they're only a couple hours from where I grew up, and am moving back to. I plan to do the install work myself, but I'll be needing a tune and i may be able to save on shipping if i can pick parts up from them. I shot them an email already, but if i dont hear back I'll just give them a call.
