need advice on lq4 rebuild
ok so I have a iron 6.0 and gonna rebuild with ls3 rods and pistons. my question is i'm trying to do somewhat on a budget, but I definitely am going with a vic jr and 4150 tb. my question is should I get a vic jr for ls3 heads and buy some 823's and have them worked over a bit or would it be ok to get a vic jr for cathedral port heads and send my 241's to AI to get done up? it's gonna cost a bit more sending off to ai but those heads flow pretty good once they do em up. thanks guy's. it will also be a nitrous motor running on a 300 shot

An iron 6.2 wont last long with a 300 shot unless you do a tall fill of hard block...and even then its not a good idea. esp on stock ls3 pistons and rings.
The reg port heads would be what you want. a 370 would be well within range of lasting with that much nitrous. Youd def want a stronger piston and better ring pack so you dont either lift a land or melt the top ring down.
