To the rest of the thread: lifters come coated in oil, and you should be putting assembly lube on the roller. Outside of that I don't know why they need to be soaked in oil. NBS above said he soaks in oil then essentially drains them and then lubes them. If you soak them then drain them, and they are already coated in oil and assembled lubricated already, what was accomplished by soaking them? Serious question.

i saw some posts about pushrod lenght.Does long pushrod makes sound or not i know a short pushrod cause valve train noise but does long pushrod do that too?Tomorrow my lenght checker arrives.

No a long push rod will take up all lash and hold everything in contact at all times. The noise from having a short push rod comes from excessive lash, which is the gap between the push rod and the rocker arm, when the lifter goes up the rod hits the rocker and makes the tap sound. Long push rods don't have the lash there, or gap, so no noise is made when that rocker is pushed on. Long push rods can also cause the valves to hang open and you'll have no compression.

I soaked mine in oil and didn't use any assembly lube without any negative effect. Ultimately you should check your push rod length. If it is correct, then the noise is probably fine.

A Hydraulic Lifter is not Hydraulic till it is pumped up with oil.
Ever fill your Oil Filter with Oil before putting it on, less time for it to build oil pressure.
Someone said valves were staying open when they tightened Rockers, an Engine will
always have some Valves open at all times, no way around that. If you are concerned
with the possibility of stripping some threads while doing so, only tighten Rockers that are
on the Heel of the cam, turn Engine over and do others.
Soaking lifters will not Harm anything, it has been done for years.

I for one, can not answer that with Actual Experienced knowledge, but
I can tell you with my 25+ years as a Mechanic more than 10 years as
a Heavy Line Mechanic at a Chevrolet Dealership, that soaking Lifters
in oil will not have any Ill Effects, every single Lifter I replaced went straight
from the parts room to the oil bath (Folgers Coffee Can), some setting over the weekend to some sitting for 30 minutes.
Edit: How do your rocker arms get Lubed? From your Pumped up Lifters, the less oil in the lifters the more time it
takes to get oil to the rockers, But that is why we hose the valve train down with oil before installing
rocker covers. If I am wrong feel free to enlighten me, always willing to learn something.

Ok guys i measured pushrod lenght 0 lash is 7.325 and i see some other posts about Torque changes the preload too.If i want 0.050 preload on my LS7 lifters and 1 turn equals to 0.047 preload (i am going for 1 1/4 turn after "0" lash is like 0.060).Enlighten me i am confused i find 0 lash with 7.325 pushrod lenght checker. if i want 0.060 preload havent i need to go 7.325 pushrod?

Is that because of tsp224r 600 lift cam?
Engine in operating temp, oil pressure is between 40-60(we can say 50)

Thats strange i removed the brand new ls6 ported oil pump to check o ring there is a little bite on it and swapped to Melling 10296 oil pump, black o-ring with standart pressure spring assambled everthing wow amazing sound change on valve train noise lowered got some exhaust leaks btw.
Whats your opinion about this O-ring ?

One thing for sure, you need to MEASURE for proper pushrod length. You need to get the proper preload on your lifters. They only way to do that is to get the correct length pushrod. The only way to get the correct length pushrod is to measure for what you need. You can look up the proceedure online. You can get a pushrod length checker to do it or you can use a pushrod of know length to measure it.
This the most common thing I see that people don't do when working on LS engines.
