Putting older 5.3 into newer truck?

You will need to do/get the following
Leave cam sensor in rear
Ls2 front cover kit
Crank bolt
4x 3 bolt ls7 cam gear
58x reluctor on crank
Drill and tap bosses on oil pan rail for knock sensors
Plug valley cover knock sensor holes
Use gray crank sensor
Reuse nnbs intake and tb
That is it besides a tune and possibly a refresh if you want it.
If the 08 has a rect port intake youll either need to swap your heads or swap to a regular cathedral nnbs intake.
