Pumps look very nice quality and good to hear that they are gone through and porting looks nice. I ordered an SLP one long ago and I'm glad I saw a chip on the outside before I put it on. I opened it up and was full of chips. Looks like nobody checked or cleaned it before shipping, so it's good to hear that you go over these pumps

Thanks! we will be offering a few more options soon as well ie shimmed springs and others.
We def make sure they are completely disassembled before cleaning then clean with solvent then air then assemble with a moly based assy lube.

Did you get a kit already? if its ported youll see the porting on the pickup tube transition at bottom of pump

How would this compare to the melling 10355

It doesnt. Completely diff pumps. The 10355 is made for a large volume demand like vvt and vvt/afm. i would never use the 10355 on a non vvt engine. the 10296 is fine if you are in need of a higher volume.
