Hi everyone, im about to crank up my ls6 and I was priming the motor through the plug into the pump and I waited till all rockers had oil coming out of them bit these two rockers weren't spitting out any oil. I didn't crank yet but I did turn over and my mechanical gauge is reading 30 psi while cranking. Is this just a matter of oil needing to find it's way? I used Joe Gibbs assembly lube on everything. Thanks

 

Im sure you cleaned pushrods before installed. I have looked down mine after setting in the garage for awhile and they was full of crap.

 

they are new hardened trickflow pushrods, I did take a long thin piece of steel and poke through the assembly lube in the pushed. Motor was sealed so nothing would of gotten in there.

 

Well hopefully it is just full of Assembly lube and just needs a little more oil to push through.
I couldn't sleep till I looked down them myself.

 

Is 30 psi enough?

 

Sorry I cannot give an experienced answer there, wish I could. But I would solve the problem
before I found out the hard way, a little work now may be cheaper than a lot of work later.
