im looking for a cam to pt into my stock 2002 lq4. Not necessarily looking for a huge power gain, but I am looking for that good sound. its going in a 69 firebird

Not huge power gain, good sound. Check out the High-lift Hot Cam from WS6store, a sponsor here. VERY good rep, great service, nice prices. Specs are same as the GM Hot Cam, but with .600 lift instead of .525. You will need different springs.
I doubt you will be disappointed.

Thanks for the props! That would be a fun cam in a 6.0. I have a friend running an older style very similar and he love it. Idles aggressive and plenty of power. Makes him smile alot and its just a 6.0 swap in 04 rcsb.. Good on budget also.
