Default Typical build / opinions

Hey guys, new here as a member but not new in the ls world. Just recently had a 1999 NBM camaro z28 painted, and cloned, into a 99 hugger orange SS. Im asking for some HP estimates and what to expect from my dyno tune, through an automatic and stalled car.

243 Heads

With a good tune, you should be well over 265hp.

Id expect 430-450 hp off the spray. About 580-600 on.

Looks that way; IMO they will choke that particular combo a bit; if they had a decent port job it would make a good bit more power.

Definitely. A good port job would be worth it on a setup like this if he can swing it

Thanks for the replies guys! How much more alive are we talking? The 243s are untouched.. was planning on a forged bottom end and having them ported next fall.

You'd probably see around 30 hp gain from a decent port job
