There is no readily available 100% inspected bolts. And car guys wouldn't want to pay what 100% inspected bolts cost. Think $50 each minimum. There will always be a very small percentage of high-grade (aircraft) bolts that have internal flaws or incorrect heat treat.

**** happens, but while I wouldn't blame the Mfr, it is certainly is their responsibility to cover the .0001% defects when they occur, and are supposed warranty them even if it's out of their control.

Good that they stepped up to the plate!

At least the rocker replacements will be free, hopefully a new valve cover will have you back in business.

You scared the carp outta me with this post....but then I read the "black bolts" part. Mine are black, and they almost would not fit in the holes, so they must be the bigger ones. Happy to hear they are taking care of you bud!!!
