Default re-using valves

Hi, i am reusing my valves on my LM7 project and i am wondering if the valves should be lapped before installation.

I taked the heads appart and cleaned them, will be installing news springs, seals etc...

Assuming the valves will go at the same place they were before, should i lap them anyway?

The engine have aroung 60k miles on it.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

That would be a good idea. It would assure good sealing.

I hand lap mine and inspect the sealing surface. If they all look good then run em.
